some people are in trouble with their other classes bc of this.

decided to go with the makeover version since it doesn't look as generic and overused as the original design. i'll use the original for the backstory instead (when he was 13 or something).

haha i think i'm much better with time management and deadlines now. this won't happen again when it comes to contests and stuff.

how to avoid being looked at as an art noob

don't ask the following questions:

-what brushes do you use?
-what tablet do you use?
-what paper do you use?
and the likes
bc artists can make good art using literally the trashiest materials and tools of all.

don't make the folllowing statement:

-wow, i can never do that.
bc you can if you really want to.

she can live with that hair because i said so.

i can't remember when was the last time i drew in this style/used this brush. i was re-reading a manga earlier so i guess it's gotten into me somehow.
i tend to be nostalgic when i'm sick.

when game cutscenes are better than movies

i fail to see the logic here.
they should of extend the cutscenes and make those into movies instead.
and i'm not talking about crappy FB games like Farmville and stuff. some people got the wrong idea...

i like reading horoscopes

because they are a useful and fascinating resource when it comes to shaping and finding my orignal characters' traits and personalities. i only value the information that corresponds well with what i already have in mind, however.
i personally don't live my life based on what the stars say. i leave all the mapping and planning to God 8)

this happens sometimes

there was no pressure sensitivity when i opened PS yesterday and today, and i just remembered a trick to fix it. need to write it down before i forget again:

One way to fix pressure sensitivity loss in PS (Bamboo Pen Tablet - Windows 7):
-Start -> Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Human Interface Devices
-Disable all "Wacom Virtual Hid Driver"
-Restart

yet another productive meeting - we had a test run (this thing is fast! and it squeaks like a little animal) and chose a basic design to use.
i should start sketching the digital rendering today.

good Friday.
we had a group meeting and got quite a bit done. the logo design took longer than expected, but we're getting there. i also found a jacket that's similar to my oc's at a thrift store. (yep, gonna cosplay as my oc at the race. interestingly, he does wear cheap clothes.)
one of the team members' bf was playing Skyrim when we got to her apartment for the meeting. imagine if i wasted time on Skyrim instead of this lol, i'd be in so much trouble next week.

voice confusion

Ichigo sounds too stiff (with awkward Japanese pronunciation). Nero's voice is more natural even though it's the same voice actor.

i never went further than normal anyway. there are missions that are absolutely unbearable after 2 rounds of playing.

in other news, i've been derping around this page a lot recently. no hope in DmC but UMVC3 is looking good, especially after they added Vergil. wish they'd release a PC version... or someone'd buy me an Xbox for Christmas.
