All the mistakes are starting to pop. What else is new.

An initial sketch for a watercolor painting I'm going to do for my class. My, it's been almost a year since I last used watercolor, hopefully I won't be destroying this.

I don't have anything for this Halloween other than this in-class doodle of my favorite movie 8\ Didn't have time to finish any of my personal works. Oh well.

Commission

Commission from a local car dealer. There were about 10 people in my art club working on this for 3 and a half hours. Seems like everybody did a great job. It looks real from the highway! My teacher's sketch of the whole thing was so accurate that even amateurs like us could get it right.

I kind of painted the tires and I hope I didn't mess up too much. It's my first time painting on a wall after all.

The people who painted the letters said those (4 kids including me) who worked on the car were... brave lol. Actually I was assigned to do the black areas, it's not like I chose it in the first place D'8 EVERYONE ELSE GOT TO DO THE LETTERS.

Well, that was a fun review.

-I had absolutely no interest in realism when I was growing up, but I still tried drawing some fail!realistic-looking people every once in a while.

-I used a lot of references.

-I was completely self-taught up until 2009 (the year I was first aware of the concept 'improvement' oTL Maybe that's why I didn't improve).

-I had a bad habit of not signing and dating my works.

-I never drew noses (I just started drawing nose this year lol epic fail).

-Colors hate me.

I don't even know if I will finish this or not lol but I hope I'm improving. Still, lots of mistakes.

No color adjustment = what is wrong with me rofl.

And what is this crap from May I don't even.

So I guess I did make a little bit of progress after all. 5 freaking months. I am so slow.

Well hopefully next month will be better or else there shall be more rants.

At fist I was like, "Let's show this to my RP partner!" and then I was like "Nah this is too lame."

Anyway I just watched a Norwegian horror movie last night and it was awesome. Them German zombies were much smarter than a 5th grader, unlike American zombies hnghh. This Halloween looks like fun already.

This morning my art teacher told me (and another guy) that we're heading to a professional direction and should be in art school without paying all that money.

I feel overestimated (as always), but that gives me another reason to work harder.

I'm quite persistent with this one right now. Due date is Oct. 11.
