THIS. is the best Bleach character. The second best is Grimmjow even though I don't like his release form. Starrk is awesome too.
Heck, I thought Gotei 13 was epic until the Espada showed up.
And right now I couldn't care less about the fullbringers.

My teachers celebrate pre-spring break week by dumping all the deadlines in my face.
I hate it when I have to write papers.
When I worry about what to write I can't think of what to draw. It's like having an endless freaking civil war in your mind.

Finally got to my 3rd commission this morning (at school).
I'm waiting my spring break to start and hopefully I'll get everything done by then.

Something not digital, at last

A mural my school's art class painted for a local kindergarten or something. There were more than 10 people working on this. I'm not in that class, but my art teacher allowed me to work on the sky and clouds for practice, as my RL commission was approaching. I was the only one messing with the sky, so if it's really messed up, it's my fault.

I'm trying to explore the placement of colors in a painting. The subject will automatically become pleasant to look at when you place the right color and value at the right place.
Plus I love moray eels! I'd never drawn or painted any aquatic creatures other than kindergarten-level smiley fish and crabs so this is like a whole new world to me. Who would think I would have so much fun painting an eel one day lol. I'm having problems with the highlights (it's hard to make things look deliciously shiny!), but I'm not giving up yet.
I started on this this afternoon since it was quiet and all. I actually wanted to paint it last night before I went to bed, but it was way too late for any artistic adventures to take place, so.

My phone hasn't been destroyed... yet.

Also, I packaged Izaya's lot in The Sims 2. I think it also includes the design for other characters like Mikado, Masaomi, Anri, Shizuo, Celty, and Namie. I've never used a packaged lot before so idk. A couple of crappy screencaps:

I felt like I was flat out lazy this was taking too long so I decided to stop right here. My purpose was not to copy exactly everything anyway. I think I reached my goal somehow. Quite a failure, but at least they look, uh, realistic? Oh well.
School just started this week. I'm looking forward to using that big ole tablet again...

Kind of a lazy day today, but I managed to do something other than just sitting around. The process has been very relaxing.

I just started working on the mayor tonight. Due: Friday.

This is a community project so I have to work on whatever "canvas" they give me. Derrrp! But it's an interesting experience. I've never painted on anything this rough, long, and narrow before. What fun.

I might try to do some landscape study later this month because I'm getting sick of portraits. I mean, I'm sick of being a failure.

I'm trying to find more and more mistakes so I can fix 'em, but this is what I've got so far. Too slow.

The truth is

I knew from the beginning he was awesome, and he always will be.

I srsly want to make this look good now.

...I really don't know what to do with his clothes =___= Needs to find references for his hands.

In other news, my laptop is running slow so I am going to take a nap.
